Creating a global campaign with HBO Max

Amidst a streaming war between the major OTT brands and a pandemic, MCH Global led the LATAM and European launch of HBO MAX.

Our team prioritized putting the audience in the center and bringing the experience to them with digital & physical touch points. Our team put their global proposition to the test and successfully delivered a true sense of HBO MAX arrival.

To launch HBO Max in LATAM, we hosted the official virtual media preview and announcement, created on-ground activations called Countdown Clocks leading up to the day of the launch, and partnered with local Latin talent to recreate famous theme songs of HBO shows.

The entire campaign covered multiple touchpoints and audiences, generating a sense of arrival for the HBO Max Universe in Latin America.

Continuing the success in Europe

Marking HBO Max’s arrival in Europe, we took a thought leader’s point of view: Navigating the conversation, offering places and points of intersection between real life and the great content that is ‘loved’ by many.

Our team created countdown clocks in Madrid, Spain, Stockholm, Sweden, and Oslo, Norway that included augmented reality aspects and connected with the regional audience through the love of content.
