Art Basel Qatar 2026
Presented as part of Art Basel Qatar’s Special Projects programme, SONG (2026) was a site-responsive intervention featuring large-scale bilingual poetry projections across the Museum of Islamic Art’s façade and inner courtyard, synchronized with a choreographed drone performance.
Delivering within courtyard at Museum of Islamic Arts landmark venue required complex coordination across heritage, technical, and operational parameters, including projection mapping on stone geometry, strict site protection, controlled lighting transitions, and precise drone cueing. The project extended the wider Art Basel Qatar campaign into the public realm, creating a high-impact VIP preview moment that combined contemporary art, architecture, and technology.
